I can’t believe its December already! How did that happen?! December means that holiday season is upon us bringing with it lots of parties and excess amounts of food and alcohol. A lot of people treat the holiday season as a time to “go off the rails” and studies show that the average person gains between 1-5 pounds during the winter holidays! Feeling Peachy!

One of my favorite things about summer is all the fresh produce we can get locally. Living in Canada makes it a little difficult to eat local year-round, as the temperatures starts to cool off we do not have access to a lot of fresh local produce. This is why I love to take advantage of what we can get in the summer! I love to go to farmer's markets and just browse to see what the farmers are selling that day and try some new things… but at this time of the year, I cannot leave without fresh local berries and peaches! Seriously, it’s nature’s candy!
