2017 - The Year of "Less"

Happy New Year everyone! I hope you had a lovely holiday season, spent some time relaxing with friends and family and indulged in your favourite holiday treats! Now that it is January, I am sure many of you are making New Year's resolutions or have been inundated with requests to join detoxes, cleanses, or intense workout programs to “get back on track.” This is why I am not a big fan of New Year's resolutions. They usually mean restrictive diets and gyms packed to capacity for a few short weeks but, living a healthy lifestyle is much more than that. My goal for this year is to be nicer to myself and set simple goals outside of diet and exercise and I encourage you to join me in doing the same!
